As I set out in the motorcycle industry, it became clear to me early on that my contribution would not be in the form a "box mover." In other words, I would not simply become a reseller of a vast offering of parts and accessories. In my view, the marketplace did not need yet another discounter adding to the already-dizzying array of vendors, large and small, engaged in an ever escalating arms race to see who could out-discount whom.
That business model did not appeal to me in the least. It offered little, if anything, in the way of stimulation and absolutely no outlet for my creative side. No, I was not looking for just another job. That could be had elsewhere, and that was decidedly not my cup-o'-tea, so to speak.
On the contrary, I was interested in conceptualizing, designing, manufacturing and bringing to market a unique line of products for the enthusiast who wanted something different. Now, a few years later, my vision is bearing fruit. I have many happy customers...no, make that fellow riders around the world who have whole-heartedly embraced many of our products, anticipating more good things to come.
